Say on Climate
LAPFF reaffirms its commitment to asking listed companies for an annual ‘Say on Climate’ vote at their AGMs. Together with TCI Fund Management and Sarasin & Partners, communication has been made with FTSE All-share companies calling for a climate action transition resolution at every 2022 AGM.
With COP-26 looming, now is the time to ensure that companies provide shareholders with the opportunity to support their greenhouse gas emission reductions strategies.
The following company chairs were excluded: National Grid, Standard Chartered and SSE as they have already committed to an annual vote. In addition, Investment Trusts have not been written to at this point.
